Originally from the North East of England, Andrea began her art practice in 2014. As a self-taught artist living now in North Wales, she began focussing mainly on landscapes as she found the Welsh coast and hills an immense source of inspiration and happiness. Due to taking part in and enjoying the experience of the Curious Travellers project and other exhibitions, Andrea made the decision to return to study and was accepted onto the MA Fine Art at the University of Chester part-time alongside her full-time work for a not-for-profit lobbying organisation. She is currently in her 2nd year of study and is currently focussing on her research and abstract painting based on the notion of disruption and containment.
