Marged Pendrell studied Fine Art Sculpture at Loughborough College of Art in 1974-7. Originating from Carmarthenshire she has lived and worked in Snowdonia since 1980. She has worked as a professional artist since 1978. and has taught part-time in Bangor University and on her own courses since 1982. Pendrell has received various awards, residencies and travel scholarships and has exhibited widely in both group and solo shows nationally and internationally. Her main area of interest as an artist has been with the physicality of land and its cultural connections. She is particularly interested in journeys.
