Stuart Evans

Stuart Evans has spent most of his life in Wales. He now lives in Borth, Mid Wales, having recently retired from working at Ceredigion Museum. Besides drawing and painting he is a keen printmaker and one of the founder members of the Aberystwyth Printmakers. He obtained an MA in printmaking from Aberystwyth University in 2013. Although he is inspired by social history and the objects held in the museum collection he is also keen on drawing and painting landscape. He creates box constructions as well as prints. His recent works are based on the themes of dry stone walls and broken pottery.
