Born in Birmingham and moved regularly around England until settling in Wales adoring the close proximity of sea and mountains. Jude Macklin’s love of people and places drove her career in teaching and her tactile connectivity to natural materials resulted in a profession of printmaking with wood and stone. Since 2000 opportunity for collaborative art/science projects has facilitated travel and work in Europe, New Zealand and Australia effecting a high productivity of large woodcut prints that forcefully engage with man and nature.
